Just before I ran out to singing lessons, I had an answer machine message that we all thought sounded kind of job-ish, but upon multiple listenings, turned out to be...

The New Zealand blood service going "VE VANT YOUR BLOOD".

My god, what a let down. Parents are saying "DON'T DO IT".

SUPER-IMPORTANT UPDATE: Yes! Still have it memorized. \o/

My favorite verse is the reprise later on.

And furthermore, just from waiting alone at a table reserved for two,
A person can develop the flu.
The flu.
A hundred and three point two.
So much virus inside...that her microscope slide...looks like a day at the zoo.

Fascinating read, but I am relieved to find that it is not yet in the dictionary.

Yup; it's not in the main song. It's later on near the end of the show, where Adelaide is so furious that she was stood up again that she decides to call off their relationship. Of course, all ends up happily ever after in the end. :D

Oh! And now that I've actually read your traits...just want to comment that I LOVE the Keira Knightly version, *and* I'm a purist. P&P is my favorite book ever. I think the director did an amazing job, and I think she was wonderful in it. She surpassed my reluctant hopes and actually became the Lizzy I always saw in my mind, much more so than Jennifer Ehle. I love Jennifer Ehle's portrayal, of course, but there was something always so serene about her that was completely not Lizzy to me. Keira managed to show a young, giggly girl who was eager and perceptive and intelligent, with flaws and virtues both that really got to the heart of the character I see as Lizzy Bennet. I was so pleased.
