My wrist hurts
Because I've spent the whole day and then some being all arty. I was going to draw some fanart for Digicross (exactly what it sounds like, a Digimon/Pokemon crossover), but then I realized I had no idea what Ryo and Caryl (yes, a character based off me; no, not a self-insert seeing as I didn't write it) would be wearing. So I had to of course do character designs.

Digidestined and legendary trainer Ryo Akiyama
A different one from Adventure 02, game, and Tamers canon so I figured I'd give him a new design... Until I realized I have no sense of style when it comes to boys. So I kind of just threw him into the Justimon scarf, a shirt design I ripped off some random in HSM then made practically Adventure/D-1 Tamers canonical colors and threw a bit of a canonical design on, his Adventure 02/D-1 Tamers gloves, his old Cathode/Anode Tamer bag, and his Tamers pants and shoes. The D3's the inverse of Davis' as a bit of a nod to both Brave Tamer (where it's revealed Ryo had Veemon and Davis' D3 first) and Tamers (where his D-Arc is the inverse of Rika's).

Not to mention Ryo's girlfriend (I was twelve, okay; as soon as Ryo showed up I was probably like "OMG, CAN I HAVE HIM") and Elite Four member Prima's protegee (okay, that had no input from me, unless I once mentioned how damn cool she is). Though this is the first time I've drawn Digicross!me, I apparently worked out what she should be wearing when I was twelve-thirteen and still a tomboy. [cuts and pastes from dA]
The bandanna and T-shirt design are a nod to Ash Ketchum; the trackpants are Canterbury, a New Zealand brand. (And, hell, that logo's the only thing there I didn't actually draw.)
On her shoulderbag strap she wears:
an amber flower brooch given to her by Ryo in the fic
her D3 (teal body with navy blue grips - two of my favorite colors before I came to WGC)
three miscellaneous Indigo League badges (not the usual badges, because A) I can't draw half of them and B) I really don't think she'd be able to get the Boulder Badge, Cascade, et cetera with a Cyndaquil and an Aerodactyl, but they do appear in series)
six Poke Balls - one containing Cyndaquil, one containing Aerodactyl, I'm presuming the rest are empty just in case
...I don't know how Ryo came out looking so much older than Caryl, they're meant to be about the same age. Even if Caryl never acted as old as any of the other eleven-year-olds in the cast.
On the upside, now I finally have a dA avatar! Good old sort of self portraits. And a Tamers fic I wasn't feeling too confident about got added to a C2. It's pretty weird looking at the stats and realizing that four out of my thirteen fics uploaded there are in C2s, and seven out of thirteen (just over half, w00t w00t) are on people's favorites. Who would have known, people like my WTF pairings.
