There's nothing like finally finishing a ~15k word fanfic
(Harhar, a post in which I refer to everyone possible by username.)
Having successfully nicknamed Jonathan "Harry Potter", the Scot's sods decided to try sorting everyone else into HP characters this afternoon. I got declared Cho Chang, I suspect only by merit of being Asian. The little sods (this is purely affectionate, especially as I only know two of their names and I'm not sure those two were part of the three present today) took up on my suggestion to make cattrius Cedric, resulting in some brilliant arguments over who was cooler.
cattrius: "I'm dead!"
tormentacorazon: "At least you're hot."
cattrius: "Oh yeah! I'm hot and popular!"
tormentacorazon: "I'M HOT TOO."
cattrius: "Yeah, but you got unpopular."
tormentacorazon: "Hey, I'm hot and alive."
And so the sorting continued. "That redhead girl" grace_face48 was declared Ron, no prizes for guessing why. femaye was declared Hermione, again, I suspect by merit of having brown hair. Even Ben was proclaimed to be Draco. nix_the_fish, on the other hand, is apparently on the 4 o'clock so infrequently that she did not get sorted. It was tragic.
Scot's sods: " That blonde girl can be... Er... That blonde girl? And she was French?"
Me: "Fleur?"
Scot's sods: "Yeah!"
Me: "I loved Fleur! She was hot."
Scot's sods: "...we're moving away now." "That coming from a woman?!"
Harry Potter Jonathan: "There's nothing wrong with that coming from a woman!"
Er, yes. Disturbing small children since 2007.
Um, is there anyone around for me to borrow an 027 txt off?
