Behold my 1337 charades - er, studying skillz

By going through my day at school yesterday:

Psychology
Mrs. Griffith has been setting us inane revision tasks all week, most of which I finished within half a period and then resorted to doing nothing and/or Pokemon. As such, I'd finished it by yesterday and thus she was a bit lost for what to do with us. I resorted to making a fortune teller telling you how/why you'll die out of boredom. (If you too want to find out how you'll die, pick your poison which will likely be totally unrelated to your demise: H2Go [bottled water], vodka, coffee, or frappucino.)

Media
A period in the computer labs. Spent about half the period stalking my friends page and reading fanfiction, then got Ms. Rigby to read my shitty audience essay (I hate media essays, I find them so much harder than English). Spent the other half of the period actually working, ie. reading up on psycho!lesbian films on AfterEllen.

Music
Performance workshop. What helpful timing, when the performance is next month and the mock is next Friday. After this, we attempted to mark a musicology practice exam. I say "attempted" because the answer pages had been clearly cut and pasted from a website and thus one of the answers was an error message, and because Ms. Watson didn't print the last page of answers.

Latin
Went through a translation and a comprehension we'd done over the past few days, both of which I got M on despite going for style over accuracy on the translation (because it's Year 12 and I still have no handle on tenses and plurals but at least I can make a story sound good in English) and not finishing the comprehension. Afterwards, we were supposed to work on an old literature exam. Instead there was a lot of discussion on Trouser, and their dirty little secrets in it, and the meaning of one of the pieces in it, and who'll run it next year (they'll do interviews, which I fully intend to do - two of the editors like me already and think I'd be good for it, go having contacts).

(Photography has no exam, just folio time.)

English
I had intended to use this study period going on SparkNotes, but some juniors had apparently booked the computer room next door and I couldn't be bothered going further afield. And so:
Ms. Pidduck: "Caryl, what are you doing?"
Me: "I'm playing charades with quotes from the texts, Ms! I'm a calisthenetic-- no, that's not it, calisthenic?"
Ms. Pidduck: "Never mind, I will not question you."
Essen: "Kinesthetic?"
Me: "Yes! I'm a kinesthetic learner!" [after Ms. Pidduck goes away] "Actually I'm linguistic, but kinesthetic's my secondary style, and is just more fun."
I ended up with six other people playing! It was awesome. Imogen was particularly good at it. And all my morning practice to Chris' school bus seems to be paying off, I'm getting kind of 1337 at charades.

Today's intended study is making my scary study sheets (well, scary because I had them for the real exams last year and everyone was like "OMG"), and...watching Harry Potter. I know, finally. I know, great study.
