And so to alleviate my boredom, I have been:
Playing the Pokemon Trading Card Game on GameBoy Color. (While it does play on my GameBoy Advance, I lent that to
Johanna's smallest sister in the interests of them all not killing each other on their roadtrip, and also I prefer playing GB/C games on a GBC anyway, the screen doesn't go all funny-shaped if you press L or R by accident, and the cartridge doesn't stick out. ANYWAY.) I completed it within a few days, which just shows how much time I have on my hands. I believe I won in about nineteen hours or something? Certainly a new record for me.
Playing Pokemon Crystal, now that I have finished the TCG. Six hours and I haven't got my first badge. This only shows how anal I am about catching every Pokemon in an area (though I haven't caught a Phanphy yet because apparently I never play in the morning, I am really rather proud of having got my hands on a Dunsparce). Also possibly how long I take deliberating over nicknames for my Pokemon. I seem to go through rather obscure connections to get their names, that or a disturbing lot of them are Wheel of Time-related. =/
Drooling over dresses. For sixth form ball. Already. Johanna suggested I should be on the ball committee, considering how much time I spend obsessing over it. I think she is insane.
Looking for a free pattern or instructions to make pencil case that does not involve a zip or knitting or crocheting. Seeing as my denim pencil case which I loved disappeared at production last year, I decided to save my poor frazzled mother some money (buying school stationery stresses her out) and sew my own from the LOTS OF fabric I have leftover from Year 10 textiles and/or the clothes my parents have told me to throw out but I loved so much I hoarded away to use in future. (That is, cotton, brushed cotton, and sweatshirt cotton. And some ribbing, actually.)
This one looks good for my new and shiny colored pencils, I have yet to find one for my pens and the like. Perhaps I shall make a bag or purse for them instead.
Come to think of it, I could use that Billabong purse Ninang Gracie gave me for Christmas.
...nah, it's teal. It'd match the uniform, which would be depressing.
Breaking half the whiteware in the house, it seems like. Completely by accident. Last Saturday I kicked the toilet seat by accident while getting undressed for a shower and it cracked. This morning I kicked the dishwasher shut as I have been doing for years and the thing under the door tried to fall off (it was still attached on one end). The toilet seat has been replaced, the dishwasher now appears to be fine.
Finding my true calling! After a 2AM panic attack this morning over my subjects this year and my path in life, I was afraid, I was petrified. Then today at Warehouse Stationery I found my mother asking two sales assistants what a "set of 6 dividers" was. They had no idea. I pointed "over there" to where they were. And lo! I thought I might work at Warehouse Stationery. I have a clue about stationery, I like stationery. Hello, perfect job.
