Science
Viki [in the middle of a debate on astronomy]: "How do you get hiccups?"

Mrs. Ryburn: "You may not take your science notes in with you--"
Who Was That?: "DAMN!"
Harriet: "Who WAS that?"

Math
10ME is doing last year's math exam in an attempt to revise. Car has been having trouble and screaming a lot, especially when she got stuck in Section A (the 'easy' part) and on the Algebra part.)
Car: "I don't know, whoa oh! Why does love...do this to me-ee? I don't know, I don't know..." (For you foreigners, this is a classic Kiwi song.)
Shengnan: "...are you okay?"

Lunch
Car and Sophie are discussing what they'd be like if they were merged into one person with Johanna and Chris.
Sophie: "Well, what school would we go to?" (WGC has just been rejected, High has been rejected on principle, Onslow has been outruled as being out of zone)
Car: "We could go to a private school."
Sophie: "Can we afford a private school?"
Car: "...Johanna and Chris are at private schools."
Sophie: "...?!"
Car: "Catholic schools are private. That's why they're Catholic."
Sophie: "Oh."

Afterschool
Car and Sophie have been roped into helping Talia find her phone.
Car: "Come on, I have a boyfriend--I mean a bus to catch!"
Five minutes later.
Car: "I HAVE MALAYSIAN FOOD TO CATCH!!"
Sophie/Talia: "WHAT?"

In case you were interested, I did eventually catch the Malaysian food from Johanna and it was very good reheated. That is impressive. McDonald's tastes yucky after two hours and even worse reheated. This Malaysian was almost a day old reheated. The Long Bar on Brandon Street, for any Wellingtonians. Good stuff.

Good god! Hands Across the Water has SO MUCH math revision it's kind of scary (especially when put together with the fact that there is no Latin at all, revision or not). THANK GOD THOUGH. Perhaps I shall not fail a slow and painful exam and be a cute cabbage with Talia and with Lydia as our lettuce leader.

You know how I was going on a bit (less since I couldn't be bothered) about how if me, Johanna, Chris, and Sophie were one person we'd be a really good singer? Sophie and I spent the entire lunch hour discussing what we'd be like if we were merged into one person.

-> Our name would be Johanna Margaret [Mum's maiden name which functions as a middle name for me] [Chris' surname] - one name from each of us
-> We'd have Multiple Personality Disorder and rule by committee
-> We'd be female (because honestly majority rules) with some boyish habits (a nod to Chris, and also I act like a boy sometimes)
-> We'd go to Wellington Girls by majority (I was trying to convince Sophie we'd go to some totally random school but we were out of zone for the public schools and the private schools were either too random or too expensive)
-> As we'd have Chris' surname we'd live at Chris' house
-> We'd take Drama and French by majority and...? not Art I'm told
-> We'd be good at PhotoShop and science and math and...
-> We'd have read Wheel of Time, shoebox_project, and the Old Kingdom trilogy
-> We'd have brown hair with dark roots and red streaks and blonde highlights in the sun, and brown eyes because brown eyes are the dominant gene (Sophie was listening in science, I was also listening in science but I don't think we ever did that)
-> We'd be tall, or at least medium height if I dragged down the average (I've just had a thought. Maybe my friends aren't really tall, maybe I'm just really, really short?)
-> We'd be Pakeha by majority, a quarter Filipina and an eighth Canadian (an eighth? I'm lousy at fractions)
-> Talia would be awkward with us
-> We'd go to church
-> We'd be on dialup only we'd be on my laptop with Chris' bigger harddrive

There was more but I forgot because I'm smart like that.

And I was going to put more here only my Internet time's about to run out so BYE off to revise! honestly.
