Second Thoughts?

I'm hearing that the New York grand jury was told not to report in today for what was expected to be the indictment of Donald Trump. Could it be that someone had second thoughts about the wisdom of prosecuting a former President on what was effectively political grounds, particularly after two impeachment trials failed to secure a conviction?

Or has someone decided to just hold off a little longer, until the furor dies down, and then do it in the middle of the night and present it to the nation as a fait accompli?
