When It Rains, It Pours
Why is it that when you have one misfortune, you just keep having more? Yesterday after the convention we discovered the brakes on our business van had gone out. Then a family member reports a problem with a tooth. Then I get an e-mail from another family member, letting me know that they're having furnace problems.
At least the last one has been resolved. However, the van is still waiting to be looked at, and the soonest we can get to the dentist is Wednesday.
And then there's the continual uneasy feeling of what next? Especially since our next sales event is in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The idea of vehicle trouble on the road is so Not Fun. And in our current situation, replacing the business van is simply Not In The Cards.
