this place gives me an uncomfortableness
Me again. Lots of stuff to write about, so I'll just go through it one by one.
Most importantly and most recently, my cat had surgery on Tuesday. Originally we had him booked only for a dental procedure (which he needed for a few years now, but the vet clinic we were using until recently was hugely expensive and wanted us to pay something like $2000), but in the days leading up to his appointment my mom noticed a rather sizable lump on his back. So, in the end they ended up taking that out as well as removing several of his teeth, including his upper canines. The upshot of this is that he now has a rather long stitched-up incision on his back, less hair, and a rather adorable sneer which happens when he forgers to close his mouth properly. Still, my mother is inconsolable about the whole thing, and the whole house is full of a sort of... anxious static. I end up checking on the cat every 10 or 15 minutes whether I'm asked to or not, just to make sure he hasn't torn his stitches out or isn't swelling or bleeding from anywhere... He's on antibiotics and painkillers in addition to his regular insulin, and the doctors said the likelihood of an infection is small, but still. I don't like his sort of atmosphere, I really don't.
In somewhat more cheerful news, I picked up Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl the other day~ I've seen it at the book store before, and the plot struck me as sort of silly - Oh, they're not REALLY lesbians, it's just a guy in a girl's body! But then I started reading it, and it was not only hilarious but sweet enough to give you cavities. And there's aliens. Finished the first Omnibus collection a few hours ago, will have to pick up the second one in a few days. So far I really want Tomari-chan to win~ She just seems so much more suited for Hazumu, since they've been friends for EVER and she's just so awkward and boisterous and cute.
Also, I need to grind for the elite 4 but IDUNWANNA~ Also, I hate how HeartGold's Victory Road only had stupid cave pokemon in it :/ And no trainers whatsoever. I finally decided to give up save-scamming and just use the stupid master ball on that bitch Ho-oh. I'll probably never ever use it, but hey, gotta fill up that pokedex! *twitch*
