(no subject)
I was going to write something about Remy and a bunch of wandering Jews today, but I didn't feel like getting my netbook out on the train ( I wonder why ) and when the 20 came I was too sleepy. So in the end, I totally forgot. I'm sure it'll come back to me, though.
Stuck working with some kind of Naruto-fag today. He's barely talked to me in the two hours we've been in the same room. Actually, it's pretty quiet everywhere today. A little weird, since Fridays are usually the days when nobody comes. Maybe I'm just imagining things.
So I'm still trying to find a theme I like, since LJ seems to have made all the good ones Paid-only. Maybe I'll take that plunge, though. I mean, considering it's only $20, that's... what, $1.60 a month? Even Subeta's paid accounts are more than that, although I do miss having one. There's gotta be a reason why I'm infinitely more willing to spend real money on Subeta than I am on Gaia. Perhaps it's to do with the fact that Subeta doesn't sell out it's users to a grillion advertisers, or that you get more for your buck, essentially. For instance, the average Cash Shop multi-pose item dealie on Gaia costs, I dunno, lets say.... $5 give or take. A Mysterious Costume Trunk on Subeta costs the same amount of money. BUT! And this is the good part - Your Gaia CS item? You get ONE. Oh sure it can change into a dozen things, but you still only get one item out of it. An MCT has six or seven items on average (sometimes more), and you can wear them all together if you so wish.
I'll probably never actually have the heart to quit Gaia, but my loyalty definitely lies with Subeta right now. Unless they do something REALLY stupid, I highly doubt it'll change.
IN OTHER NEWS I have a quiz in an hour.
In a 3000-level course which I didn't want to take and that seems really difficult ...
And is taught by a chinese lady who speaks terrible english. FML.
