Hoshit, what's this? An actual update that's NOT just semi-educated rants about pop culture? I spoil you guys.
First off, I'm considering leaving (or at the very least unwatching) who_daily because not only have I missed the last 2-3 months, I'm pretty sure all they talk about now is Eleventh Doctor, which is honestly something I'd rather not bring into my sphere of knowledge. As for torchwood_three , that other DW-verse newsletter I was subscribing to... Well, they can stay, I suppose, even though it seems like mostly they just post fanfics, since... Yeah.
Speaking of communities though, I am watching togainu_no_chi like a hawk now that the anime is airing! :D Subs seem to be coming out pretty fast, too~ As in, the day after the Raw's go up~ Sooo excited for episode 2! WE'LL FINALLY GET TO SEE THE PUNISHERS. And Rin of course. But mostly THE PUNISHERS. This is going to make my horrible Fridays-with-stupid-preachy-prof worth looking forward to!
Also, these two articles on Autostraddle have made me feel a lot better about any sort of romantic prospects, perhaps because knowing there's other people that struggle with similar issues really does help. I mean, dating in general is a treacherous sport, but adding the idea that there's only a small percentage of compatible individuals makes it that much more difficult. It's part of what you accept when you choose to identify as a sexual minority, and to be honest I am happy to do that. I feel like a part of something, I feel like I'm doing something right, even if it turns out to make life more difficult for me in the end.
