Yes, I freeze soup too - very useful when I get home from work and want a quick snack, and I often make it while I am cooking another meal too, because it doesn't take much looking after on the hob. The lamb soup you made sounds very comforting as all good soup should be!
I'm not overly enamoured of Faceook either, it is such an effort to write anything of any length, one has to post it on another page (or even here) and then transfer it, and Facebook is more memory hungry too, but some of my friends use it, so I do too in order to stay in touch. By the way, my work colleague friend, Suren, is a rather talented young photographer and he is off to Thailand next week (he's going to Ireland this week) so there may be some good pictures coming from his trip. He seems to have an eye for the right angle to capture the essence of things from ... I have his callendar on my wall.. He would like to turn professional one day, and I hope he gets the right breaks to do so.
Thank goodness Seraphim also posts on here, he is also rather handy behind the camera ... just seems to have that eye for things which one wouldn't otherwise notice, and sees beauty everywhere - like my old Dad did. Seraphim is also very thought provoking at times, and he is so darned likeable, isn't he?
Good luck with the book, I hope the right people take notice of your work!
Nah, we don't celebrate 4th July here ... if we celebrated all the Independence Days of all the Commonwealth and countries we were once associated with, we would get a lot more bank holidays (hmmm not such a bad idea actually ;) since we seem to have far fewer than other European countries somehow), but I hope you had a good time, nevertheless.
