New opportunities!!!
My husband called me at home this morning at 8:20am (woke me up too! *lol*) to tell me that he had been terminated from his job! Well.....we work together....at a company that was previously owned by my Mother. She is still working there (for 2 more years) but a year ago she sold the company to a new owner. This is an electric sign company.
Anyway......when he told me this news, my first words were "Well, I quit too!". And by 9:30am I had officially done so.
Sooooo......now we are both officially unemployed! Hmmmm........................
My husband is a graphic designer. I do office work (accounts payable/receivable etc.). It has been a strange day, however, I am somewhat excited....because we have both worked there for sooooooo long (20+ years) and we have lived in this town FOREVER! Now...the possibilities are endless!! Where will we work....where will we live.....what will we see!! : )
Reminds me of good ole Dr. Seuss ~ Oh the Places You'll Go!
"You'll be on your way up! / You'll be seeing great sights! / You'll join the high fliers / who soar to high heights."

After we finish dodging hurricane Ivan, we'll let the search begin!! : )
