(no subject)
OMG! My feet will never be the same. Seriously, they've been hurting since Monday. I tried a different pair of shoes today and it didn't help BUT I'm not letting that ruin my vacation.
We headed out this morning to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. I quite enjoyed seeing a number of things there: The Wright Bros plane, The Spirit of St. Louis (Charles Lindbergh, 1st transatlantic flight), Glamorous Glennis (Chuck Yeager, 1st to break the sound barrier) and the space craft, of course. Otherwise, I was done fairly early. Although, I do find the history of aviation and aerospace interesting, I'm not so big on the scientific part of it. So, after a few hours there, we headed out, had lunch and went onward to the Museum of Natural History. We made it through a little over half the 1st floor before calling it quits for the day. We'll head back there tomorrow though as we were both enjoying it. Unfortunately, between my feet and my husband's knee, we were just starting to hurt to much to really enjoy ourselves and decided to come back to the apartment and rest before going out again later this evening. We're heading to the Improv for dinner and comedy.
