Yes. We are starting a new. I've seen a few so let's get to it. Worst is first. Movie count 7.
Freud's Last Session - I don't know who this was for. It was the same anti-God argument I had just watched the night before in Brideshead Revisited the night before. Weird.
I.S.S. - It was going to be a decent 2010 ripoff but then it just evolved into space fighting.
The Beekeeper - Oddly enough I enjoyed it. A love of stupid but a lot of bee references.
The Book of Clarence - A reimagining? I don't even know. I gave it an extra point for the dance number. 2024 kinda sucks so far tbh and I'm still getting around to finishing up the 2023 Oscar bait. I'll watch this again but my impression won't improve.
Argylle - It was fun enough. Not as stupid as the Kingsman movies but inherently silly. There's a difference and I'm a silly person. Cavill is barely in it. I really enjoyed Rockwell.
Out of Darkness - No idea what it was going in. Had no idea I'd have to read. It was fine. I'll need to watch it again to understand when it was. If there were clues to otherworldly or scifi elements I didn't pick up on. Because SPOILERS[ the cast looks like future people but it appears to be the distant past]
.
Bob Marley: One Love - Pretty much loved it although I wasn't a huge Marley fan going in. I didn't dislike him. I heard his songs around just like everyone else but I never sat down and listened to them. Imagine my embarrassment when everyone else was singing along and I didn't know the words. His music is cool but as portrayed in the movie, I like him as a person better than his songs really. I'm going to go do some research into all that though. Great performances all around but the lead deserve some recognition. I doubt it will happen though.
