(no subject)
My Friday:
work was kinda... blah... don't know how else to describe it. At least we got done early... but then that's not unusual for a Friday--it's our slowest day, pretty much always.
The rest of my day didn't go the way I thought it would. I expected to be going to my massage theripist (for my wrists, which have been hurting off and on for a while), then to Landmark, the talk to Chris the rest of the night.
What actually happened is this: I got a page from Mike before I left work. He wanted to do something tonight. So, since I have a flexible agreement at Landmark (which is rather unusual, by the way) I rescheduled my time for tomorrow afternoon. Should only take a couple hours to get the work done. Anyway, then I called Martin, my massage therapist, who by the way, just had a baby girl a couple days ago. The 21st I think it was... Martin said we had our appointment scheduled for next week. I told him that would work out beautifully for me. I proceeded to call Mike and tell him. Then Mike came over. We played some DDR with Dave. Dave left, Mike and I went to taco bell for some food. We played Chess. I actually lost...how unusual for me.... but anyway, then we played Magic, then DDR, then some more Magic, then DDR... well, we did 1 or 2 five-song sets and then switched to Magic, played a few games, then played DDR some more. That's something you *can't* do in an arcade. :-P
I did a fairly mediorche job at DDR. I won most of the Magic games. I suppose I didn't get that much better at DDR tonight... but I can't always expect to improve marginally every time... ::shrugs:: I still can't do Standard. Oh, well. I'll get there. :-D
um... I guess there's not much else to say about today... so I'll post now.
