Season's Insanity
Yesterday, Joe, Brad and I finally saw the last Hobbit movie. It was really good and we're all glad to have seen it in the theater. Afterward, Brad headed home to be there for Boyo arriving from school. Joe and I got errands done. The dumb was out in massive force...and driving. The closer we get to Christmas, the more insane people are on the roads. I'm so glad to be done and get to hide at home.
Today, I left the house to go with Brad for his stress test. Due to the device in his chest, they had him ride a bike, rather than run on a treadmill. They didn't have all the information they needed so the doctor there had to call Brad's heart doctor. In the end, it took long enough for me to watch an entire Cary Grant movie. It was a black and white from 1939 titled, "In Name Only." I love old movies.
While we were gone, Joe was wonderful and vacuumed the house. A few more things tomorrow and we'll be ready for Company on Thursday. Snackmas!
