A much needed, happy update :)
Wowy, I haven't been writing in here at all lately and Paul has just reminded me that it's time for a much needed update. In some ways I could say that not much has changed or happened since the last time I wrote in here, but at the same time, everything has changed and so much has happened, especially in the last few months.
I would have to say that the highlight of October was turning 22. It's hard to believe I had such an amazing birthday considering it was the one I had been dreading for years. I figured, after turning 21, what else is there to look forward to? I think I realized, however, rather than worrying about turning a year older, that the more important thing is to enjoy the happy times in the present while they last, and be thankful for all of my great friends and family who have made my life so wonderful at this point and continue to do so... For my birthday, I had a very nice dinner with two of my good friends. We went to Peohe's in Coronado which is by far one of my favorite restaraunts. After dinner, my friends threw me a really fun birthday party at a karaoke bar where our good friend Beth works. This was so much fun! It had been years since I had an actual party for my birthday, and the fact that almost all of my friends came made it so much better!
One thing I've noticed lately is that a lot of people seem to be forming new relationships. I guess it is true, good things happen to those who wait. People are finding each other and falling for each other so unexpectedly.. it's really sweet. It's great to see friends so happy with their new boyfriends even if it means I don't get to see them as much. I know for me, things just happened seemingly out of no where and I had no idea that anything that has happened in the past few months would ever have occured. I guess the last few months have been a very pleasant surprise, for a few people.
Currently I am still in school working on my child development degree. Hopefully I don't have much longer to go. I'm also spending much more time working on my French horn studies and I'm getting better all the time and it makes me quite happy :) I'm still living with my grandma which is also going well. She's very happy to have me around.
Well, that's about all I have to say for now. I guess this is just sort of a general update. Hopefully I'll start posting more again :)
