Ch...ch...changes

I know it's been forever and a year since I last updated this thing. I highly doubt anyone reads this anyways, but, to the few of you who do I will enlighten you. My life has been in a huge transition period for a couple of months now. I am a taurus and for those of you who know anything about astrology you probably know that taurus's hate change! Almost everything about my life is changing right now or has just changed.

1) I just found out that my store is closing and moving to Costa Mesa. I said no way am I driving to Costa Mesa and now I get to work from home. LAZY! This could be the greatest thing ever or I could go into a downward spiral. I'll let you know how it goes.

2) My uncle Mike had a brain aneurysm and is still in ICU at county general. There was only a 15% chance of survival and he's been in there for about 3 weeks now. So he made it through, but, at what cost? He will most likely have the mind capacity of a 3 year old and he is paralyzed. It's just hard to deal with something so huge so quickly. I have been really lucky in my life to have been spared with deaths and traumas to loved ones. So this is completely foreign to me.

3) I don't have a huge amount of friends but the ones I do have I give myself completely to the friendship. When it is abused and betrayed it feels like a part of me has died. It makes me more callous and less giving of myself. I don't want to be like that. I don't want to have to deal with this shit, I'm too old for it.

Okay enough drama...I'm making myself sick! On a good note I went to visit my Aunt Michaeleen (actually she's my grandma's sister)in Pittsburgh and had a kick ass time! I got to see family that I haven't seen in about 20 years and I went to Niagara Falls for the day. I went to the Andy Warhol museum and I had an authentic Greek feast cooked for me while I was there. My aunt was cracking me up with her stories. When she was driving me around she was saying stuff like oh that's where Randy lived. He was a transvestite that we used to visit when we were little. Ask your grandma about him I think she went and saw him perform when she was old enough. And that's the pole where that crazy kid next door hung the cat from. Or(my favorite)this is the bridge that MJ (my grandma) hung me over! (What!?! Mind you this is a huge bridge on the main boulevard!)On my last day my aunt took me to the "south side" and I found a little record shop that had the cutest guy working in there. Total indie nerd. If she would've taken me there on my first day I would've been stalking him the whole time that I was there.
If you haven't seen Garden State please do so. I love this movie. I love Zach Braff. And the soundtrack isn't too shabby either.
