Okay.....so this is actually a pretty happy post.
First things first.
The new TED LEO album is fucking amazing! I love it. I have seriously had it on repeat the whole day.
The new M83 is awesome as well.
I bought the Placebo video retrospective DVD and I was watching all the extras that are on it. Anywho...there is a band interview from the time of their last tour and low and behold Zav is on it! How nice it was to see his beautiful face, even if it was only for 20 seconds. It just reminded me of how much I miss all my friends in London and how I miss London in general.
I went to see Radio4 on Saturday and they were really good as well. I was pleasantly surprised. I had never actually heard them before and Aimee was on the guest list so we went to check them out. Good times. And the guy doing the "Humpty Dance" was not to be missed! haha

COACHELLA-----for a girl that was way into Goth in high school this years line up pretty much sums up my high school vision of a dream show. (Well it would need to include Siouxsie, Depeche Mode and the Cure as well....but since they just played that's not going to happen.) Anyways.....here are the bands that I can't wait to see.
New Order, Cocteau Twins, Bauhaus, Gang of Four, Mercury Rev, M83, Four Tet, British Sea Power, Sage Francis, and Wilco. I'm sure there are others but those are the ones that stick out in my mind.
Third
I just watched Harold & Kumar go to White Castle and I have to say I laughed my ass off. It was soooo ridiculous that it was funny. So if you haven't seen it I recommend that you do.
