I'm Sick.....
I'm sick and I don't like it. What a surprise eh? Well this time around I dislike it more than usual as I think I am going to have to cancel on this evening. Tonight is the Orthodox Christmas Eve service at George's church. We had talked a while ago about churches etc. for when we get married. I brought him to my (Anglican) church for Christmas eve to show him what it's like. Also it's a tradition that I don't like breaking. Even if I didn't like the service for itself, I would go just to see how annoyed our priest makes Andrew *wink*. I was/am still really looking forward to seeing an Orthodox service (did you know that they cross themselves in a different way than Catholics/Anglicans do?). The only thing is that it's a midnight mass, so it starts at midnight, it's standing room only (no pews - strange!), and I'm coughing and sneezing and blowing my nose. Also I didn't sleep well last night because I kept having to blow my nose. Boo! Maybe if I rest up all day...? The other thing is that I can't afford to get worse as the Evanescence concert is this Monday night and I have to be well for that. I'll be working all day, then a concert in Toronto in the evening - if I'm not reasonably healthy for that I'll get super worse for next week. Double Boo!!
