so kicked off the first night of vacation with some panera with the girls then off to see joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat at sta. wow, nick allen is amazing. seriously, he did such a good job. if that boy isn't famous or at LEAST on broadway by the time he is 20 i will be very very surprised. the play was excellent, especially the swing dancing cows (yay krystian and monica) and the whores (yay kate) and it wouldn't have been complete without an atrium kid crawling across the floor with a sheepskin on their back. classic sta.
went to cafe after the play and devan got to meet her prom date, danny mac. i think they will have a good time, and if not, i will make sure everyone has a good time that night. i am determined to not allow that night to be a complete disaster, like it's predictment. then off to sleep at kristen's.
we made the mistake of POST-ITing alex and mike that night. it rained. apparently the color bleeds from the post-its when wet. so alex was late for his basketball game this morning and mike's white mercedes is now rainbow polka-dot. whoops!
so then i drove to lynn and hung out with darren all day. i have to say, it was a perfect way to start off my vacation. if my whole vacation is as good as just this weekend, it will be the best vacation ever. seriously. my whole day today was great. well actually it started off a little rocky and people were cranky, but then everything got alllll better again. and it was sunshine and puppies. hahaha.
