saving the whales
my neighbours are so cute, well the 3 little boys that live there
yesterday kade (the oldest of the 3, he's around 5 years old) came over to ask me a question
he came up and said "ashy, i'm doing a ak;eoiangoa" and i said "a what?" and his dad says "he's trying to say 'run-a-thon'". Then Kade says "do you want to run?" and i said "do you mean you want me to give you some money?" and he said "yes". I said sure, and as i was writing down my information on his little blue sheet I asked him what the run-a-thon was for and Kade says
"it's to save the whales"
and i looked up at his dad and he was shaking his head, and mouthed to me "it's really not, it's just for school"
but Kade was so excited, and so he is sure he's running to save the whales.
so sweet.
