All right gais, I only have a few weeks left before I get into school again so I can only watch or read so many things. I've narrowed down what I want to read of "real books" on my own, but television and manga are difficult. Someone help me.
Am currently in the midst of Skip-Beat for killing time at work and an Albert-centric re-watch of Gankutsuou (dubbed) for TST.
Gintama This is eventually going to happen. I swear it will. It's just always last on the list. What about it besides TST characters should bump it higher?
K-On! Stalled at episode 9 because I can't stand Azusa. How Azusa-centric are the last four episodes?
Last Exile On episode 12. The setting pings all sorts of buttons, but I don't want to keep watching if they don't get rid of Dio and Luciola soon. Someone told me they get killed off, but if it's not within a half-dozen episodes I just can't stick with watching those smarmy little white-haired fuckers smug their way around the Silvana being dicks to everyone. When do they die?
Mouryou no Hako All I know is that CLAMP did the character designs and they actually look good. Is it a quality show? I am willing to watch bad shows for pretty CLAMP characters (see: Code Geass), but only if they're bad in a melodramatic way rather than a boring one.
Mushishi Watched the first episode, thought it was lovely. Still not sure I want to continue it, though, because it is so chill and I get impatient when I watch television. Is it worth keeping going?
Natsume Yuujinchou/Natsume's Book of Friends On episode 4, not particularly impressed by the lack of character development, but still think the concept is neat. Does it pick up?
Samurai Champloo (dub) I'm intrigued just by the concept, because I love knowing anachronism stews like that, and it's the same people who did Michiko to Hatchin, which I loved. y/n/save for later?
xxxHolic (season 1) I've... never actually watched the anime. I know it's pretty, but does anyone know how it is compared to the manga?
Also, what is a good source for J-dramas besides dramacrazy.net? I'm planning on watching Maou once the Gankutsuou re-watch is done, and if I like the genre will probably want further suggestions.
