So after watching the movie into the wild about Christopher McCandless, the young man who graduated from college, gave all his money to charity and ventures out into the world trying to gain knowledge to reach his ultimate goal of living in the wilderness of Alaska while leaving behind all of his possessions, things he cares little about, yet his family members hold so dear; I have decided I need to buy the book, also titled Into the Wild. And that one day I would like to take the time to go to all of the places that he went. Not just Alaska, where he sadly died in 1992, but all of the places he went on his adventure. I want to take the time to experience what he did, and make memories of my own. I think it would be such a good experience to just let go of life...and go live. I however don't want to do this trip alone, already learning from him, and realizing that life and happiness are only worth experiencing with the ones that you love. And also do not want to make the entire trip on foot. A car or camper will work nicely for an adventure like this. I dont know when, or how, or with who...but one day I would love to do this for myself, and in memory of Christopher McCandless.
