so, i popped in my john mayer cd a couple days ago. completely remembered why i'm in love with him. his lyrics are like honey to my biscuit. for some reason he just reaches into my soul and shakes it all over. where would i be without john mayer?! ...probably sad and alone and unable to express myself. kay that's a lie. but i would be pretty down. everything about his music just SINGS to me--pun definitely intended--and it makes me feel good to be me. i don't know if he had any ulterior motives with his music (i.e. the fame that comes with it)...but if his main reason for writing music was to make people feel good and to feel like they have a way to express themselves...and to let them into his life...he did a damn good job.
