Tonight was a sad night. We'd heard from eclecticmuse that my favorite restaurant, Up The Creek, was closing so we decided to pay a visit. WELL. When we got there, not only was it closing, it was CLOSED. My heart broke. I'd been anticipating some good crab bisque. We went to the Mexican place across the street instead.
Picked up some new toys for the critters--a cardboard tunnel for Chewie (the chinchilla) and a rope and bone for Evie (the dog) because she has thoroughly demolished her old ones. Her bone has been untwisted and is now in pieces around the apartment, and her rope is a tangled fluffy mass of string. She is now proceeding to pour her love upon the new rope. My little girl is so cute. :)
