Holiday Fic Gifting
Ganking this idea from trinityvixen because I think it's great and I need an exercise in creativity:
2006 Holiday Fic Gifting!
Who wants a fic? You get one if you respond to this with the following:
1. A fandom that you and I both like and that I know well enough to write decently in. For reference, I have written in the following fandoms/mediums: Star Wars, The Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, the Alien films, Independence Day, Dawn of the Dead (2004), Edward Scissorhands, ER, the Titanic (historical fiction), and (soon) Doctor Who.
2. Pick a set of characters from the fandom that you wish to appear, anywhere from none at all to maybe a half-dozen or so.
3. Provide me with a prompt. A word--"locusts!"--or a phrase--"the north shore has better octopus gardens"--or a line of dialogue--"I say, is that red ink or blood you're using to make copies?"--or a link to a picture. This will be either the inspiration, the driving force behind the plot, or the word(s) used directly by a character in the fic.
So have at it, friends list, and I'll see what I can whip up!
