This weekend: I turned 27. I made a delicious homemade rainbow chip cake that I'm adding to my repertoire. We ate at angelo's and crazy burger. We went apple picking. We went to a wedding on a farm in Little Compton. I pet an 18 year old goat. Someone caught a chicken and threw it at someone. We found 7 eggs in an old rabbit hutch. There was a doughnut cake from Allie's and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I got along with someone I'm not fond of! And swimmingly, at that. I made my first lemon meringue pie. We saw 8 boxer puppies that were only 11 days old and we even got to cuddle them. I met my grandma Darlene's two new three month old toy poodles. They look like little mops. We watched the last two episodes of season 4 of Mad Men. We ate homegrown homemade tomato soup and grilled cheese for breakfast.
Every Labor Day weekend should be like this.
