sorry in advance- you guys probably won't get excited or anything, but i'm getting a really big kick out of this. In calculus our teacher mentioned that after the AP exam one of our projects might be to write a letter to a teacher who has made an impact on us. My mind immediately went to my 4th grade teacher. She was a stickler for grammar- which I am now, and I still remember some of the things she told us about life in general. I was a little disappointed because I didn't think I'd be able to find her- we lived in Stafford then and she went to our church once in Charlottesville when she was visiting her daughter at UVA. But for all I knew, she could've moved 5 times or retired or something. But I figured it was worth a shot to see if my old elementary school had a website... and it does. And I found her! She's teaching 5th grade now, but at the same school. I'll have to e-mail her sometime. I am excited.
