So, enough with secrets and dreary moods. Life is good, and it's time to bust the lid off some things.
First off, and most awesome, new living situation. Some of you had heard rumors that ashtoreth and I were planning on moving in together. Revel in the streets, for I confirm it for you now! The decision was made a little while ago, and we'd been waiting on certain things to really move ahead... but that wait is over. After a sudden and slightly frantic race to find a place and get things arranged, we have a lovely townhouse in Newark with our name on it!
That means, of course, that we're going to need some troops to help with the moving. Right now we've got our eye on making the big push on the weekend of the 13th/14th of March. We will not *require* an enormous ton of people, but this case many hands will make idle work, so come on down. We will feed you pizza, and drinks of much variety. Apply to myself or to the lady and let us know if you're willing to come help us out.
Now, for those of you paying attention, there was another piece of information hidden in there; the thing we were waiting on. I've been keeping a lid on this because I haven't signed on the dotted line yet, but I'm sick of being quiet about it. I have a new job at last, and moreover, it's the one I've really been wanting!
Palantir Technologies (http:\\www.palantirtech.com) is hiring me, or so I have been assured by both my prospective boss and the HR guy I've been dealing with. Like I said, no dotted line yet, but I've been promised up and down that it's coming. Now nobody jinx me.
Long story short, raise your glasses, my friends. Life is good and getting better, and if we get some of you mugs to show up and schlep our stuff for us, it'll be the candle on the cake.
