12 Step Program to posting more

masqthephlsphr  has suggested I update more often - implying that once per year was just not enough.  LOL

However, habits die hard.  It's important to recognize when you need help.  So I went in search of a 12 step program for posting more often, that is, more often than once per year.  Side bar comment: I do see that more than once per year is valuable otherwise

We don't really have a great defence press. There's the Canadian Defence Review, which is mostly about official stuff. I don't think I ever recall anything in it about the US. By and large our press is EXTREMELY uninformed when it comes to defence issues.

Rather than the press it's better to read stuff from someone from academia like Doug Bland, Queen's university.

For nearly 100 years there's been only one Canadian defence imperative, which is to spend enough defence and have credible enough armed forces so that the US allows us a seat at the table on matters that would affect our defence and security are being discussed. There's a second imperative, which is post 9/11, which is to do a credible enough job on homeland security so that it doesn't severely affect our trade with the US due to border restrictions.
