Sun Eclipse on Friday

*Don't get any camera near them, ever! They will pose like never before!*

Yesterday, my school threw the students buffet party for national children's day, a week late from the original day which is usually on the second Saturday of January due to some conflict issue (& I didn't even know why lol) and at the end of the fun around 3.30 PM, we were be able to witness the partly sun eclipse from the sky above. My students came excitedly around me to urge me to watch here & there at the spot they thought it was the best spot to witness it.

*(Left) With adorable kindergarten kid & another teacher, Pimprapai whom became my very good friend & (right) with remarkable kid, Satang, she could do everything from singing to dancing!*

Without the proper material to see the exposed sunlight, I was reluctant to see, up until one of students gave me the plastic cover of water bottle to see the reflection of eclipse on the glass windows of the building (not that it was the proper material anyway but it was not the direct sight since I saw the reflection). The next second was the first time I ever witnessed the real eclipse from my own eyes. It was totally amazing moment! Especially for the geek like myself.

Next thing I knew, some students led me to across the way and I got the sunglasses lens to try. This time the eclipse was half way to the end & with some efforts & adjusts (thanks to the CHDK hack on my Canon camera that helped me set the ISO 1 to capture this precious moment) I got this picture to share to you all!

*My first ever sun eclipse witness!*

Have you ever witnessed any eclipse?
(& I'm not talking about Twilight Saga!)
