home, and i should be reading
oh my. so much to write about.
the insurace for the car is all taken care of and im dropping it off to get it fixed on tuesday. apparently i'll be a few days without the car, but whatever. its going to get fixed and i have class anyways so it's crappy but not a world class tragedy. it could have been so much worse so i got lucky but the gas mileage is crap and the alignment is doing something funky. in addition to the dent and the headlight. eh c'est la vie.
nate and i had a rough couple of days, but things seem to be evening out now. we had to hash some stuff out but that stuff happens. the earlier we get the kinks out the better i guess. i dunno. i want our relationship to work out and everything and im not really worried that it wont, but we definitely have some stuff we need to like, deal with. things are awesome, dont get me wrong, but i think everything relationship has the little glitches somewhere. it's all good though.
i started target. it rules. period. its different...more energetic, busier, more fun. the people are great. i really like it.
emily and i are going to antigua on the new year. we're going for two weeks to work at a school for special children and take a winter session for a credit. its such an amazing experience that i cannot even put it into words. im really excited, theres a small group of us going and its going to be something completely different from anything i'd ever experience here.
i went to brunch with my brother and mike today. mikes a nice guy, funny, and makes kickass mixed drinks. then we got heidi and went shopping at old navy. it was fun, i picked out a bunch of stuff for aaron and whatnot. we had a good time.
and now...it must be done. i have to go study and catch up on reading ive already been neglecting. i'll be all caught up by the time i leave tomorrow so it's fine but its just annoying to do it all at once. boo.
