Busy Busy Busy

New week, back in the swing of things. I had to get up and go to work today, which always sucks considering that although i enjoy the people i work with at school, the job itself is mundane and boring. A lot of alphabetizing files and catering requests, logging things into computers, updating inventories and the like. I do get to run campus errands, which can be nice as long as it's in the morning and it's not as hot out as it likes to get here.
I just cleaned up a bit, did the dishes and cleaned out the fridge and cleaned my room while Nate vacuumed. I like to keep shit cleaned up, i get so OCD if things are messy or whatever. I have to buy new clothes for Target - khakis and plain red shirts - so i looked up places on the internet that will be cheap but still decent. Aero has impressively cheap khakis - 24.99 - right now, so i'll probably get on that. I like that we all have to look alike, but that we don't have to wear dorky uniforms or whatever. I probably shouldn't count my chickens, they still have to call me about the drug test and background stuff, but I'm pretty damn positive that both are fine, so I'm allowing myself to get mildly excited about a new job. It may not sound like anything great, its Target, but still it's something new and it'll be a nice change for the next few years. It's a bit more money too, not a ton, but it'll add up fast and they said that raises are given so that's kind of cool.
Nate and i had an awesome day yesterday. We went to the mall and i got my haircut and my eyebrows waxed. My hair was so nasty that they had to cut almost 4 inches off (!!!). It was kind of expensive because everything is down here, but it was worth it. This kickass shampoo was on sale 2 for 20 at the salon so i seriously splurged on some olive oil shampoo and conditioner that works like no other. Then we went to the commons and had some sammys for lunch (amazing) and i got some coffee at junas. We walked around a few of the shops, then hit up barnes and noble for about an hour. After that i got some luna bars at wegmans and we came back here for dinner. It was a great afternoon.
I have to buy books and stuff at the end of this week. I get paid from rite aid on thursday and have to shell out 100 bucks for parking for the year. Then friday i'm gonna go and get my books. I looked them up and they're going to be like 566 bucks or something. Ithaca college sucks about this - - - we can look our books up online, and we have the option to order them from the bookstore so we just have to pick them up instead of actually going in and picking them out ourselves, but then they charge you something like 5 bucks a book or something to have someone thats exactly like you go and pick them up. I think not, they're expensive enough! I have 5 classes, and some of them have up to 3 or 4 books apiece, that would get SO expensive if i got charged 5 bucks for each! At least for two classes we have the same books for 1 and 2, and im taking the second half of those classes in the spring so thats two less classes i have to pay for in the spring, and im doing fieldwork two in the spring as well so there's no books for that. I only have to pay for like two classes worth of books in the spring, but i'll have summer session books next year. It's all good though, it really is less stress for spring financially.
I'm not really stressing about money because my uncle helped me out with my books, which is amazing. Once they're out of the way and parkign is out of the way, i'm gonna give Katy 20 bucks for cable for the semester and then i can just concentrate on credit card bills, which are under control but i want paid off in the next couple of months. Money sucks - - - im starting to think about christmas already because i want to get a handle on it early this year instead of trying to do it all at once and then being broke for months. I made that mistake last year.
Heidi turned 21 yesterday. She was up at pirate days, got wicked sick and then got stung on the eyelid by a bee. She had to drive home from alex bay today because she feels so terrible and cant participate in anything right now and arrived home to her fridge being broken and all her food being spoiled. I feel horrible for her and really wish i could go home and help her out and keep her company. The baby's up at pat's moms because of pirate days and pat stayed in alex bay, so she's alone and sick. That sucks. If you read this, love you tons sis.
It's totally time to go on a diet. I've eaten so crappy the past couple of weeks. I have really healthy food here, and i do eat it but the boyfriend loves his dp dough calzones and they are SO good so i always end up eating those haha. Or we get ice cream or something. We decided today that we should stop that, so we had a last hurrah of ben and jerrys and he had a calzone and we're done now. Sometimes its just so much easier to order than to cook, but i actually enjoy cooking and i dont know why the hell i dont do it more. I'm making a quiche tomorrow night and im pretty excited for that though.
Nates leaving wednesday morning for quite awhile. He's got a job interview next monday and he's also trying to get things with morrisville squared away so he can go back to school (SO PROUD OF HIM!! *MUAH*). I love having him here, and we've had a lot of time to actually have him here in the past few weeks but its time to suck up the real world soon. I start classes next wednesday and he needs a job and stuff so we need to suck it up. He is taking duffy though...boooo. That minipig is cute as shit.
Alright, i must shower and be lazy and go to bed now. Work at 9 tomorrow.

Night!
