Time for an update
It's been awhile. Interesting week since the last time I wrote. I had my second interview at Target (Tarjay) and they hired me pending a drug test and background check. I took the drug test Friday and they'll let me know about everything in the next week or so probably. I'm not worried about anything, so I'm pretty excited. I didn't do my two weeks at Rite Aid yet because I wanted to be sure that I definitely had the job before I quit the one I already have. Rite Aid here sucks. I don't know what my boss' deal is but she has been assraping everyone without vaseline lately.
I went home last Thursday cause I had a doctor's appointment on Friday morning, so I got to hang out with Aaron a bit that night before I went to Nate's. We had some good decaf and country singing in the Olds on our way to Wal*Mart. I think we might have ended our Mom's life with our serenade before he went Hilling though. Our bad haha.
Things have been pretty uneventful though. I found out how much my books are going to cost (566!!!)and it's completely painful but I can afford it because my great uncle is an amazing man who's really helping me out right now. I do nothing but work at the moment, but classes start in two weeks and I'll have a more "normal" college schedule...though there's nothing normal about any college kid's life haha.
I'm feeling so much better about so many things though. Nate and I are doing so well, next Sunday is two months for us (ALREADY!!), and we just have such a good relationship. I never get tired of seeing him, it's always exciting for him to come here. We don't ever even do anything hugely eventful, just the mall, and making dinner, and grocery stores and normal day to day stuff, but it's enjoyable. I really just like doing day to day things with him. I think that's a good sign. I don't find myself tweaking out when he goes home and that tells me that I'm sure about everything and that I'm not all worried that if he's not here things will fuck up.
It's pretty nice here today, and Nate came this weekend to pick up Duffy to take him home *tear* so we're gonna go downtown on the Commons for a bit and look around. Maybe some coffee and a slice or something like that. I LOVE IT HERE.
Anything else exciting? Got some good alcohol induced dials from the big brother this weekend. Always a good time. I miss Aaron so much when I'm at school, it bums me out. I'm not that far away from home, but it's far enough to be expensive and a pain in the ass to drive, which sucks. Hopefully though with where I live this year he can come down, maybe with one of his friends or something, for a weekend and we can all hang out. It's all good either way though, it's not like we don't talk haha.
Alright, Nate just got out of the shower so it's time for my lazy ass to get to these mashed potatoes I'm making for dinner and take a shower and stuff so we can leave.
