HEHEEEE! Heyyyy geeks!! I'm still alive! For those of you still living in the non-myspace-having days and don't keep up w/ me on there. And that care. Yes. :D
Welllll, I basically just dropped by because in my last entry forever ago in October '05 (time flies!!), I said that I'd update again once something major occurred in my life, i.e. a relationship... *giggle* Yep, I finally scored me a new man!!! A GOOD one! :) We've been together for a mth now (yesterday was actually our 1-mth anniversary *cue the barfing* haha. Hey we're CUTE, dammit! All those other nauseating couples are just that ;p). We started talking back in June when my bro-in-law actually introduced us... as I'm sure some of ya'll remember I've mentioned several times in the past that he's a Capt for Delta Airlines, aaaand Larry (the new beau... hehe yes, a bit of an unusual name for a young stud ;) is a pilot for them as well and so they've known each other and worked together for about a year. Well, long story short, my bro-in-law thought we had WAY too much in common to not at least tell each of us about the other so we could have the option of communicating if we wanted, so he did, and we did... and the rest is history! :D
Larry & Tabitha... the early years. ;p This was his first weekend down here when we met (we were waiting at the car wash, hence the Penzoil sign by his head lol) back in late July.
So yep! I actually just went down to Georgia (where he's from -- yeah that's the only killer -- it's a long distance thing, which I said I'd NEVER do again but it's just different w/ him. He's worth it! And he IS a pilot so we both get some pretty generous flight privileges, which obviously makes it possible to see each other more :) to meet his fam last weekend and he's coming back down here tomorrow for the whole weekend, YEEEEE!! My family just loves him (he hasn't met the bros yet since they're workaholics and never around [Travis is actually on the Mariah Carey world tour, WOOT! I'm supposed to be getting all-access passes to her Dallas show], but everyone that's met him just wants to keep him! lol), which is a FIRST, I gotta say... especially how much my DAD liked him from day one. Get this -- he offered to let him stay at our house ANY time he's down! Um yeah, for my dad that was HUGE, haha. And yeah I think it's safe to say that his fam loved me just as much. :D Larry says so anyway. Well what's NOT to love though, ya know? Tee heeeeeeeeee!
But annyhow, so that's the biggest news I've had as of late! Still pushing in school... determined to and mark my word WILL finish by 9/07!!! *prays* Nah but I'm actually doing really well w/ it. I'm all 160s now, for those of you that have ANY recollection as to what the heck that means, haha. Annnd I got a new part-time job that fits my schedule a lot better than the retirement home did. That got oooold after almost two friggin years, man. I finally completely resigned from there just a couple weeks ago, actually, and I've been a data entry clerk for my bro's friend's custom embroidery company (they mostly do shirt screening and uniform/hat embroidery) for about a mth now, which is cool cause it's really flexible and I'm on salary! And best of all... NO MORE WEEKEEENDS! Ahhh I can't tell ya how nice it is to have my life back, whew. Ummm OH and the angelic nieces are just growing like weeds! Oh my gosh, Mallori just turned 6 on the 30th. 6!! It's just wrong. She started Kindergarten this year. *sobs* Hehe she's doing REALLY well w/ it, too and just loves it. There's already talk from her teachers of her being gifted, which we all already knew, but. :D And Miss Millie turned 3 in June! I'll hafta post some pics that I'm sure you all dearly miss getting a regular dose of at a later date. Heee!
Welp, I guess that's all I have to say about that. The good Lord has really blessed me over the past few mths and I thank Him daily. But I hope everyone else is doing just as well! I'm pretty sure I still somewhat keep in touch w/ most of you on myspace so it's not like I have ZERO clue as to what's going on w/ ya, but drop me a comment on here or there some time and keep in touch!! Ya'll take care and you know I'll be back to report when even bigger things happen for me. ;)
