Last month, I was watching the Rachael Ray show and she was talking about various gifts for those who enjoy being in the kitchen . I like to cook and prefer to make things from scratch if I can. She was talking about the Philips pasta maker and as soon as I heard about it, I knew I had to have it. When my boyfriend asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told him. I didn't think he would actually get it for me, but totally did!
This baby makes one pound of pasta in ten to fifteen minutes. Amazing, right? And what can it make you ask? ramen, udon, soba, spaghetti, fettucine, tagliatelle, penne, lasagna and ravioli sheets, and you can even make cookies with it. Plus you can flavor the dough and add vegetables and herbs even.
As long as the pasta is flour based, the machine can pump it out quickly with no problem. I am SO excited to try it and I'll post pictures of my pasta adventures.
If anyone's curious, here's the recipe guide for it:

I'm getting some Christmas stockings and am planning a Christmas Eve party with my niece, nephew and my youngest sister. I was thinking we could all do some crafts and make cookies. I also bought some stockings for my boyfriend, Oliver and I and some stocking stuffers for my niece and nephew. And we're getting a tree this week, yipee!!
