A few fic recs, just because it's been a while...

Wolf in Sheep's Clothing (Gen, friendship and whump, rated K+, 4 parts complete) by Eildon Rhymer
Injured and on the run, Sheppard and McKay are trapped in a dark ruin with a putative monster. This, however, is soon the least of their problems. - I really loved the description in this one, since they can't actually see. It's written from Rodney's point of view. Both John and Rodney are hurt and trapped in a pitch dark cave and Rodney's mind is going a mile a minute through every bad scenario possible, making the story in turns angsty, scary and funny. The way Rodney and John work together, knowing exactly what will keep each other going is really well written. I really enjoyed this one.

Emptiness Echoing (7parts complete, Gen, R - for being scary as all hell) by cole_chan
The brothers are investigating an abandoned hospital with a grim past, but something’s not right. Are they both really there, or is Sam just a figment of Dean’s imagination? - Really scary in that highly confusing what-the-hell-is-going-on way. You're totally in Dean's head as he's trying to stop whatever is going on and get out of there. Also if you're into Dean-whump, you'll love it. And the ending worked so well. :)

Sam's kind of died and gone to a really bizzarre heaven where his brother is secretly a teenaged girl. Dean is swinging his hips from side to side almost obscenely, and Sam really, really, really wishes he had that video camera. - Dean's possessed by a teenage girl, what more do you need to know. This just cracked me up. :)

The hunt takes Sam and Dean to the Magic Kingdom. - Of course there's someone doing magic in the Magic Kingdom, lots of snark and brotherly banter, and animatronic pirates coming to life. A fun read. :)

Dean struggles to move on from his encounter with the djinn. - Dean has nightmares after his encounter with the Djinn. Not a fic I would usually read, but this was done well. Sam's concern wasn't over-the-top, the interplay between the boys was very realistic and the way Sam knows how to get Dean to do things when he needs to... Well it worked for me anyway. Plus the nightmares are freaky as all hell. :)
Everything I Needed to Know I Learned in Auto Shop (PG, Gen with a light dusting of Crack, TeenWinchesters, pre-series) by zannes
Sam hears a rumor about his dad at school. Is it the end of the world or does Arkansas just have really screwed up content standards? Sam decides to find out. - Just hilarious and wonderful.
