It's fic rec time...
Kellifer_fic has recently posted two more Lorne/Novak fics. If you've never read her Lorne/Novak, you really don't know what you're missing. The latest two made my heart melt out my ears and my brain go all mushy with the adorable-ness!
It all started with Moved to Distraction
Then it was referred to in Girl's Poker Night
and started to get really adorable in
I Never and the most recent installment Asgard Tact
I have much love for these fics. I've read others doing the Lorne/Novak thing and it's never quite worked for me, but these I love. Go have a look. :)
I'm glad I found the latest fic too, because I needed a pick-me-up. I just had the worst morning in the lab. I did something stupid with my labeling and had to go bring up my cell lines from liquid nitrogen again. This would only be a minor setback, except that they are the same cell lines in which the stocks I made previously somehow were infected with some evil fungii and so I don't have that many vials of the original stocks left to bring up. Yes folks, I have hit a new personal best for lab stupidity. *headesk*
Yeah and I'm meeting with my supervisors this afternoon and my thesis-writing is going about as slow as... something that moves really, really, really, incredibly slowly! Gah! Save me. *wibbles* [/whining]
