Here it is. THE LAST ERIC PICPSAM UNTIL NEXT YEAR!

I'll be sobbing and mumbling in Swedish and wiping blood off of my cheeks while typing up this whole entry I'm sure.

ERIC, DON'T LEAVE ME!

P.S. This entry will also make ONTD cry.

There were just so many really amazing things that could have been done with Eric in the latter part of the season and they did...nothing.
Because clearly Tara and Eggs breaking plates and people licking ostrage eggs is much more entertaining.

When you think they didn't even have to be original... if only they could follow the books more. Eric would've been in pink spandex, Sookie would've made him talk about Godric (and ASkars being so awesome, he would've made it work even with the pink spandex), they would've made out (YUM) and Eric would've saved the day/town! Now, *that* would entice us to watch next season.

IF ONLY I COULD E-MAIL A LINK TO ALL OF THESE TO ALAN BALL. Between what I said, and all of the wonderful and insightful comments you guys left, this is pretty much your one stop shop to see all the reasons why everyone loves Eric.

Email that to HBO, repeatedly. Or maybe we should all do that too. I don't know, but I'm very frustrated not be able to do anything myself when it's SO obvious that if the Eric fans campaigned, it would work. We're just too many.

AND GUESS WHAT? IT IS NOT BECAUSE HE'S DANGEROUS!

I feel a wee bit insulted by that insinuation actually.

Same here. It's pretty infuriating.

haha exactly! I mean, in all honestly, Eric is the only thing that made the maenad storyline in the books even work at all. Without that it's just like "wtf, who cares?"

Yea, I totally respect people who want to follow their own vision and all that, but if 90% of your audience thinks what you're doing isn't that great, maybe that should tell you that you need to at least tweak things. You can't just ignore that completley.

Plus why would you want any of your main characters to seem two-dimensional? They should be more complex.
