Seriously, can we speed up the Eric/Sookie sex just for the purpose of watching his back during their sex scenes? Plz?

YES PLEASE!

Oh and I hope Eric meant he was going to literally FLY.

Haha, I thought the same thing! And I want to SEE IT!

And I'm so glad you posted the part about Eric coming to the hotel room from the book. I was SO sad it didn't go quite like that! I mean, I liked it as is, but I wanted the Eric/Sookie interaction.

Aw, she had to come back for Eric because she loves him.

YES. I loved that part! More subtle than a lot of other Eric/Sookie bits, but important.

Eric can control himself so Sookie really doesn't have much to fear from him. Does that give him an unfair advantage over Bill? Yes. He can protect her better than Bill can both from others and from himself.

Yes. And even Eric's status in the vampire world (as much as Sookie doesn't like at times) protects her far more than Bill could.

I love how the bullet just popped out of him and she got mad about him "Playing her for a sucker" in book 2 (AND SEASON 2, NEXT MONTH WE'LL SEE THAT SCENE, OMG!)

HAHA YES AND YES!!!!! WHEN IT HAPPENS I WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO WATCH IT, LIKE, 10 TIMES BEFORE WATCHING THE REST OF THE EP!

and he has resorted back to calling her lover. Except with his regular personality it almost...works.

Lol, I kind of love it. It would bug me from most guys, but it really does work for him.

I don't hate Bill anymore. But the triangle should be over. For good. There's no way you can respect yourself and sleep with someone who raped you (even if it wasn't his fault). That's just too emotionally fucked up. Besides, she needs to move on with her life. She can't revert back to being with her old emotionally abusive boyfriend.

YES. It really bothered me that Bill is kind of being raised as a possibility again. Not because of Eric/Sookie, but because of everything you said here. I feel like she shouldn't even consider it. Friendship, yes. Anything more? No.

Does anyone think her fairy-ness is going to allow her to live longer/age slower. Because logically it should...

Oooh, good point. I mean, the others with fairy blood died unnaturally, so we don't really know. And that would give her more time with Eric! :DDD

But four hours of sleep is worth it for so much awesome Eric-ness! :D

I feel like I read something about a fan going on set to watch the filming and seeing Eric fly! So I think we'll see it! :D

You know, for a few mins I debated with myself whether or not to put that quote in this entry because I thought "hmm maybe that'll be in another episode!" haha but probably not since it's too close to what already happened. But Eric did not walk in on them in a state of undress. And you know they'll have another love scene before leaving Dallas...or maybe I'm being too hopeful? LOL ABOUT BILL/SOOKIE LOVE SCENE. GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING ANYMORE!

It's true. Bill is kind of a nothing in the vampire world TBH. I mean he gained some clout with his computer program but I really think Sookie is higher up in vampire rank even though she's just a human, lol. Bill can't do that much for her. Whereas Eric is one of the most powerful people in the country.

Lol, I kind of love it. It would bug me from most guys, but it really does work for him.
Yea, that's it exactly. On most guys it just sounds weird, which is why I think it bothered me in book 4. Because Eric wasn't himself really, he was only a small part of himself. He was just sweet. So it was like he was Sam or something. And as much as I love him, Sam would just sound like an idiot if he called someone "lover" all the time, haha.

But when Eric says it with his full personality it's kind of like an endearing quirk of sorts. haha

Exactly about Bill. If Eric didn't exist I still wouldn't want him and Sookie to get back together. I'd be pulling for Sam or someone new!

I was just thinking about the fairy stuff because Niall said that her grandfather lived (or would have lived?) to be around 700 and he was 50% fairy. So therefore her dad at 25% would have lived to be 350 mathematically speaking if he wasn't murdered. And then it's only logical that at 12.5% fairy Sookie, Jason, and Hadley (if she wasn't murdered) would live to be around 175...

Yes! I seem to remember hearing we'd get to see Eric fly!

HAHA! I think we can root for Bill/Sookie love scenes if it means Eric walks in on them!

And, yeah, I think the vampires in general consider Sookie a lot more valuable than Bill. Maybe not on the tv show (yet), but in the books, for sure. She can do stuff for them no one else can.

And let's not forget when Eric called her his "future lover." If we get THAT on the show, I'll probably never recover from squeeing, haha.

I just mainly root for any kind of Eric scene now! haha! I am seriously rooting for me to never look at the clock and see that it is 9:40....and Eric hasn't been on yet. That wasn't cool.

Yea, I feel like Sookie became so valuable in maybe book 6? Probably when she went to meet the Queen. And definitely in book 7. I loved how in the first chapter in book 7 Eric was like "Ok so me, Pam, Sookie, and some other dude will go to the summit" and Bill was like "What about me?" and Eric was like, "What about you?" lol. Bill had to practically plead his case to go because Eric didn't think he mattered.
And I don't think Sookie going was just because Eric was in love with her...although I'm sure that has always helped her in some way. haha.

HAHA yes, it always made me laugh when he said, "future lover". He's such a smartass. I think he did it the first time at the very end of book 3 when they were held at gun point (lol or silver point in Eric's case) at the gas station.
So it was like something that's part funny but...endearingly so. Sookie was basically thinking, "haha shut up...ok I know you're right and I so love you but...shut up!"

Oh, I know! No matter how interested I am in other parts of the episode, I can't stop myself from watching the clock and waiting for Eric!

Haha, yeah. Really, Eric's love for Sookie and knowledge of her usefulness have always kind of been mixed together. I mean, it was her mind-reading that first got him intrigued in her. It's more than that now, of course, but if it wasn't for that, he probably would've never bothered to get to know her.

Lol, yeah, she was like, "That's SO not true! (Except for . . . I kindasorta want it to be)."

Well, the telepathy and the fairy blood. So even if she wasn't "useful" per say he would still have the biggest boner ever for her and not know how to explain it. haha.

I feel like Eric isn't someone who gets...turned on easily just because he has so many people literally throwing themselves at him 24/7. So I bet if ever felt super intense regular lust/blood lust for someone in particular (like Sookie) he'd probably be like "WTF IS WRONG WITH ME? I AM OLD, I SHOULD NOT BE SO EASILY CHARMED"

Yeah, I think Eric (lol, this will sound terrible!) probably just used women in the past. And not even in the way that say, Barney does, because at least Barney has female friends. Eric probably never even bothered to get to know any humans until Sookie. For the matter, he probably never even had to WORK to get a woman before Sookie, lol.

Oh I'm sure of it. But I don't think it was just Eric. I mean, that probably applies to most Vampires in general. Once they slept with them and fed on them a bit they probably just glamored them into forgetting that Vampires even exist. And there may have even been some sort of rule that said that Vampires had to glamor people into forgetting.

So the only way a relationship with a human would logically work would be if it was a huge secret. And you would only want to keep a secret like that if you were ~in luuuuuv~ lol.

And since vampires never have to work for it (Eric in particular because of his insane hotness and undeniable charm) they just probably never fell in love. It just wasn't part of their normal life for the most part.

You know, a part of me now wants to read an Eric/Sookie fanfic about them meeting before Vampires "came out of the coffin". It would be more "dangerous" I suppose. The Queen wouldn't like it. Or she would be like, "You have to turn her like I did with her cousin. Or just kill her."

Oh yeah, and even now, I feel like most vampires wouldn't bother with an actual relationship with a human. There are always fang bangers around!

Oooh, I wonder if such fanfic exists. I haven't read any E/S fanfic in a while, but there wasn't a ton when I looked for it last fall.
