I've been HORRIBLE at updating, SORRY! Well, summer's been great, I was supposed to go to summer school, but that didn't happen. I'm just going to load up on the classes for fall, probably not the best decision, but I can hack it :) Ricky came into town last Friday, for my BDay (even though he was a day late...not that I minded at all!) and left

Hi, I just found the Handbag Fetish (I have dozens!) group and noticed the pic of you and your Navy guy which caught my eye because my husband is in the Navy. Plus the fact that we have a couple of other things in common, I'm Hispanic and from Texas. I've been a Navy wife for 10 years now and your comments about military wives made me cry. As I sit here waiting for my husband to come home late again after a whole week of coming home after 11:00pm because of field exercises, taking care of two little ones all day and trying not to get frustrated at being alone yet again I found you and your entries. I just wanted to say thanks for reminding me that some people do remember us and appreciate the role we play while our husbands are away fighting or training. My husband leaves for the middle east next April and I'm not looking forward to the stress I know that's going to cause. I was alone from Dec.2003 to April of 2005 while he was at a year long school, actually it was the worst year of our lives, my dad died last Jan 7th and my husbands dad died 7 days later on Jan 14th. I was'nt able to be at my dad's funeral because we were far away and my husband could'nt get leave. So anyway, now he tells me that I'll have to be alone again for at least six months or longer. But when I read things like what you wrote it makes my days easier.
