Hey!
This is a little out of the blue, but I've been asking around and a few people have actually pointed me your way.
I'm sorry to ask once again,
but I need your help again with something?
I'd really, really appreciate it.

No apologies. I'd be happy to help with whatever you need, if it's within my power.
What's up?

Oh, thank you!
Well, I know that it's difficult for Wanderers to get jobs in Chicago. But I was once told by a dear friend that some manage to get by if they can get their hands on papers.
I'm looking to get a job as a music teacher in a school here, I have a degree - but unfortunately no proof of it. That's one thing I'd need, I'm unsure what other papers I'd need.
Is this something you might be able to help me out on?

I've been okay. Had a bit of Rift bother myself, but nothing I couldn't handle. Kind of have to roll with the punches, you know?
And you've actually come to the right place.
I can get you forged papers and we've helped Wanderers with that before in the past. We have good people working on that.
If you can drop on by at the Crowbar later in the week, I'd be happy to let you know exactly what you'd need and when you could have them at your disposal.

I have? Oh, that's just brilliant!
[Brb, John. Cassie is going to do a small victory dance around her room.]
I can do that, thank you so much!!

She's heading for the bar, giving the woman on the bar a shy smile.]
Hey, I'm.. looking for John?
Reply
She sends someone over to Cassie to take her order if she has one, and it's only five minutes later that John's making his way down the stairs, waving at Cassie before he reaches her.]
Hey!
I'd been expecting you. How are you?

[O hai, Lena! :D
Cassie smiles and slides into one of the booths, pulling her guitar from her back and pushing it into the corner. And she is most definitely going to have a white wine, because she's been busking all morning and afternoon. It's well deserved, of course.
She spends the time until John gets here looking about and taking small sips every now and then.
And then there is all the happy smiles as she waves back.]
Hello!
I'm good, busy day.
[She jabs her thumb at her guitar's direction.]
But I think I made a decent amount in tips, good thing it's the summer. You?
Reply
She would agree it's very well-deserved.
Lena serves her the white wine with a :D face on and only steps away when John appears.
The ambiance of the bar is mellow, at the moment. There are only a few patrons here and there, the regular customers. It's at night when it starts to get really crowded.]
Look at you, busking out on the streets.
I like it.
[John jabs his thumb in the platform's direction at the far end of the bar.]
We've got open mic nights every other Friday. You should come play sometime, I have a feeling you're a good one.
[And then, more seriously:]
So. Tell me about what I can do to help, exactly. You need forged papers?
Reply
Yup! I've got to make money somehow, even if it's playing on street corners for change.
[Which is one of the many reasons why she's here right now. Busking is what she enjoys, but she can't do that for the rest of her life. If she's going to be stuck here forever, she needs to start making some firmer foundations.
And now she's going to lean to the side in her seat to look at the platform. She grins brightly. Yes. That is brilliant!]
Oh, definitely. I love Open Mic, I will do! Thank you!
[She takes a small sip of her wine and nods.]
Yeah. I want a job. A proper job. And when I was home, before my music career was about to get kick-started - I was going to be a music teacher. I might be in Chicago, but I don't want to miss out on two dreams.
So, I'm hoping to get something that'll allow me to get a job in a school somewhere in the city. Most importantly I need proof of my degree.

[And he senses that about her. There are things one does out of love, and things one does out of responsibility.
A pesky difference when one becomes an adult.
He has to hand it to her. Plenty of people just take the Tower's free room and board and never worry about finding jobs anymore. It's something he can respect.
Anything that gets her to visit the Crowbar more frequently is brilliant! :D]
You're welcome! I should be thanking you. We've been short on musicians lately, but we want to bring back some of those open mic nights and openings.
Gives the bar more ambiance or somethin'.
[He leans against the bar, listening to her intently.]
No one should miss out on their dream, wherever they are.
I can get you those papers and credentials. I'll need to know what school and what degrees exactly you want to be credited with, along with your full name, date of birth, etcetera.

She's extremely grateful that she has that charity at the Tower. But she can't keep taking forever, she doesn't like to. She's been here in Chicago long enough.
Part of her doesn't want to leave the Tower, though. Because it is her home. But until she's ready to move out - she wants to earn enough money to give something back.]
That's a shame. But yeah, I'd gladly come along and play. It'd be a good night every now and then for the city too.
[Because Chicago always needs more of those.
She smiles and pauses to hunt around in her bag before pulling out a notepad.]
I wrote things like that down last night. Well, I think I've gotten it all. I put down school exam results from Highschool, as well as my University degree. And I'd also need a certificate of some kind to prove I'm a Grade Eight in Piano.
[She tears the page out and holds it out for him.]
