So, I've been gone for a while. I was in Killington, then in London. Those are the GOOD parts of the last two weeks...sort of. Killington is something I look forward to the most every year, and it was great. I got to room with Steph, Peets, and Spatz (all who LOVE to keep me up to 2 AM making rabid monkey noises and seagull calls). Steph had a rocky start with Peets and Nate both being on the trip, but everything turned alright after Steph and I locked ourselves in the bathroom to talk and Peets, in an attempt not to distrub us, went out on the balcony and pissed...on herself and her blanket. Don't ask me what her blanket was doing out there. But it turned Steph around and everything was alright.
I skied with Bee, Niko, Steve, Brent, and Wes on day one. Brent had an awesoe wipe-out down a huge bank and into a safety net when he crashed into me and flew back into the net. He handed me his board and crawled back out and off we went. It was a good day. We met up with a bucnh of other people from the club and had a race down the Great Northern. I wiped out and still managed to go from last to third or fourth. And I was the only girl, which made me feel like I couldn't loose or do poorly because then I'd be just like the other goirls that went and weren't serious. It was Bee, Niko, Steve, Brent, Wes, Kenny, Dawson, Bostwick, Byassee, Derick Dupree, and I on day two. We had a BLAST! Dupree had an amazing wipe-out, way better than Brent's, where Wes hit him, he caught an edge, fell over, flew into the woods and left a splatter of ski equipment...skis, poles, and clothes...all over the trail. He pulled himself out of the woods and got himself together. Dawson is a fearless dude...or else just stupid. He hits jumps at full speed anf gets about 6 or 8 feet of air. It's cool just to watch him, because he kinda of flails around a little bit but always manages to land. It's AMAZING. Anyway, Vermont was fun, I loved it. It's one of the very few reasons I don't want high school to end.
London was fun, except if I ever do it again I'm not going with my mum. 18 over there is old enough to do wahtever you want, so I bought Absinthe and smuggled it into the States. When Zane comes home, we're going to drink some of it. What did I do in London, you might ask...saw all the stuff that people go to Londaon to see, went to Bath and Stonehedge, and shopped. I bought a purse (which has since been stolen, you'll hear about that later), and a set of jewelry for prom, and a 40's-style beaded purse to go with my dress. It should be a lovely prom, with my knock-off vintage-style Badgly-Mishka dress I'm making. What can I say, it's love. I'm working on shoes to match my bag and I'm going to have to sew the beaded design on the shoes.
My bag I bought in London...what happened to it you might ask? It was STOLEN at school with all my cash ($250) in it. And everything else I own. My lisence, ATM card, AAA card, Insurance card, BestBuy gift cards, two sets of car keys, a house key, both of my wallets, my HK coin purse, and my gold compact mirror my godmother gave me for my 18th birthday. I was LIVID. The next day Ashley Rice's was stolen. You know, I didn't care about the money, it was the bag and all the stuff in it. I have yet to replace my lisence. At least my phone wasn't in there...I would have had to kill myself.
Skiing ends next Saturday. Makes me sad. I haven't slept in four weeks, and I want Zane to come home. I need to sleep. I have been so annoyed with everyone and everything this past week.
"I haven't sleep since I quit dreaming, and I haven't dreamt since I met you..."
