So! I got a job. It doesn't pay much more than my last job, buuuut, it's only 5 miles from my apartment, they are totally flexible with time and IF I WANT, I can work 40 hours a week. The guys in charge are soooo nice too. I start Wednesday, after I pass my drug test monday. (to which my Father-in-law said with a smile, "so lay off the drugs this weekend, Karina." Nice... )
I also am back from Mexico. The trip to the orphanage was absolutely life changing. There are so many kids who need so much love in this world, it made me cry. And then to find out that it costs only $50 to adopt one of them (including all the paperwork for the Mexican side of things) just made my heart hurt even worse. Okay, other than that, Seth is doing well in boot camp. He's the platoon scribe, and excelling in every test he takes, except the water tests. (We Arizonans tend not to do as well...I can't imagine why...)
I'm taking Chewie (our car) in on monday for brake work, which is probably good, seeing as how the brake light has been on for 4 weeks now. er, yeah.
