21 steps to improving your mood:

1. Go upstairs and blast old emo mix CDs and have a good cry
2. Go downstairs and find brother's big navy blue jacket so as to not feel self conscious about weight
3. Pull bike out of garage and ride up steep hills
4. Once sufficiently tired out, go down said hills
5. Ride bike through little path and out back of the senior center
6. Sit under the trees and think
7. Wait until it's dark
8. Ride back home in the dark
9. Discover that spanish-speaking Colombian relatives are over
10. Escape into the world and culture of Colombia
11. Bring back memories; be happy
12. Talk in Spanish the whole time
13. Get pretty silver ring from previously unknown relative
14. Have a tiny sip of Jim Beam that makes your throat super warm
15. Over-cautious brother tells you you're drunk
16. Agree and pretend to be drunk off yo' ass
17. Decide that you're not going to be sad over something that happened in the past
18. Decide that you will let fate do its work and whatever happens you will be OK with
19. Love your family
20. Listen to Latin American music
21. Love who you are

I won't be writing in this journal anymore. From now on my thoughts are going onto paper.

Off to play DDR with my awesome little brother who just invited me to because he loves me.
