062; picspam: various fandoms + 45 icons: Merlin BBC and other + 10 OUAT gifs
First, I'd like to post the picspam I made for the second challenge at smashingart. The challenge is titled "You had me at..." and we were supposed to show the moments that truly make us love the fandom/character. I chose six of my favourite characters from three TV shows - The Borgias, Merlin BBC and The Secret Circle. My explanation and the picspam - under the cut :)
1. Cesare and Lucrezia from The Borgias - OMG, how adorable are these two? ♥ This scene literally made me want to squish them and ever since I've seen it, they both became my favourite characters.
2. Morgana from Merlin BBC - I remember that I really loved how I thought Morgana was so brave and amazing in this scene, standing up to Uther and not being afraid to say what she thinks, even though he's the king. I immediately knew she's going to be one of my favourite characters!
3. Arthur from Merlin BBC - I know that earlier there were some funny scenes with Arthur and I liked them, even though he was a total prat, but this one made a big impression on me and showed that he's not only a spoiled prince. He trusted Merlin enough to question Valiant's intentions in front of the court and possibly lose his honour. We also saw how strong his sense of duty is and pretty much influenced by Uther.
4. Faye from The Secret Circle - I just LOVE this scene ♥ I wasn't very impressed with the first episodes of TSC but oddly, I kept watching it for Faye whom I found interesting since the beginning of 1x01 but actually really loved after this scene. I just adore that what she wants most is to be free and it was bautifully showed here.
5. Diana from The Secret Circle - I admit it took me a bit to warm up to Diana but soon she became my 2nd reason to watch TSC. She felt a bit stiff and reserved, talking about binding the circle all the time but in this scene I felt like she let out her true feelings and I begun to really like her.
And now the icons I made for the challenge at landofart called "So That's Your Favorite TV Show". I thought a lot about the TV show that I want to choose for this challenge, because I have many favourites but in the end I decided to focus on the series that I really love but somehow recently put a bit aside - Merlin BBC. I really want to be more active in the fandom again, so I thought making icons from it would be a nice start :)
I also decided to post some icons I recently made for some stills challenges.
