While the drama and tension still remain (leftover church stuff), starting fresh is exciting. I will spend my summer in the sun out on the pond at Camp Lowe in Lancaster as the waterfront Director. I have some chill time between now and then that I'll lifeguard when I can, and keep productive till the very busy summer season begins. Camp environments have always been a source of positive learning and growth for me, and I hope that while serving as a leader I can still learn and grow all the more.
I will miss my kids so very much. Thanks to my ties with Common Ground, the Y and music stuff can keep us in touch. They are a fun, strong, and tight bunch. They will do huge things!
WHile there's still drama and continued hurtful situations involved in my new season in life, I am looking forward to a job interview and seeing what opportunities are next for me. I haven't really been worried in all of this... and if you all look at the very start of my journal and the whole "learning th fly" theme.... this is one of those times that I am in the space between trapeze bars of life, and I know that as scary as it is not knowing when, where or how the next trapeze bar will be in our grasp- the best and most important parts of life come in the leaps.... no matter how long or how short they are.
