Well, I'm home for the summer! Yea! It promises to be exciting, even if we can't seem to find a missions trip to go on. Here's a list of some of the stuff I want to do:
- Go to Southwick Beach (on Lake Ontario). We used to go there at least once a summer, but haven't gone in a few years.
- Go horseback riding. It's something I love doing but again, it's a once in a while thing.
- Go to Seabreeze, an amusement park near Rochester. Another place we used to go every summer but haven't in a couple years, at least.
- Go to the farmer's market with Mom. Last year we did this, taking the bus downtown. We came back with much more than we could carry, especially for the mile walk home from the bus stop. But it was fun.
- Go blueberry picking with Mom. Yum yum, blueberries!
- Hopefully hang out with Emma, my sinkmate from this Mayterm. She lives only about an hour south of here, so it shouldn't be too hard to get together.
And I have some other exciting news. There's a possibility that I could be helping take care of Hispanic kids at a daycare at one of the city schools. I still don't know all that much information, but it sounds right up my alley. Little kids + Spanish = fun!
Anyway, I think I'll go have breakfast. Take care, ya'll!
